Ready to learn Portuguese with me!
This course is designed for learners who are ready to take an active role in their own language journey. While the course is led and taught by Nahid Salimi, it does not follow a traditional classroom structure. Instead, students are expected to take ownership of their learning — through consistent practice, personal motivation, and self-discipline.
Each week, Nahid will guide the sessions with essential instruction and direction, but the heart of the program lies in the effort each learner puts in outside of class. To strengthen real-world communication skills, every session also includes live practice with a native Portuguese speaker, giving students the chance to apply what they’ve learned in natural conversation.

Nahid Salimi leads the Portuguese course with a focus on empowering learners to become active participants in their own education. She manages the class sessions, provides key language instruction, and prepares students with the foundational grammar, vocabulary, and confidence they need to engage in real conversations. Her role is to guide, support, and challenge each learner to stay consistent and self-driven.
In each session, Nahid also facilitates conversation practice with native Portuguese speakers, giving students a valuable opportunity to apply what they’ve learned in authentic, real-life dialogue. This combination of structured guidance and immersive interaction is designed to help learners make real progress while building cultural and linguistic fluency.
Our Goal
The goal of the YDL Portuguese Language Course is to help learners acquire the language through consistent practice and by creating opportunities to engage in real-world conversations. Rather than relying solely on traditional methods, we focus on speaking, listening, and interaction — giving students the tools and confidence to use Portuguese in everyday situations.
